In the 5th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Meriti to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerrit Cronen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Cronen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Cronen came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of S.C.PAULISTA's Gerrit Cronen. Gerrit Cronen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Meriti to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Gerrit Cronen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gerrit Cronen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. S.C.PAULISTA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on S.C.PAULISTA's corner Kauã Chaves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, S.C.PAULISTA's Gerrit Cronen got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerrit Cronen stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 63 minute. César Eger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gerrit Cronen came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. With a little luck, S.C.PAULISTA's Gerrit Cronen got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Gerrit Cronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Gerrit Cronen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Leonidas Orange came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerrit Cronen having to make a save. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
