Henrik Sõõr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikk Puuk got free with Rolando Noboa in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Alonso Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Sõõr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Mikk Puuk came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Sõõr was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrik Sõõr saved FS Kilomani from getting behind. In the 44th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Sõõr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Sõõr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

With a little luck, FS Kilomani's Henrik Sõõr got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ernst Tarand in the 71 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andri Murelik in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Andri Murelik came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
