Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 3rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Tullio, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 7th minute of play forced SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Augusto Bevilacqua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Laudadio got free with Thiago Pliego in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Cosimo Laudadio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Marco Silvestri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Silvestri saved SPALLETTE RETURNS from getting behind. After some careless play in the SPALLETTE RETURNS defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Silvestri. The SPALLETTE RETURNS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Silvestri should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Silvestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marco Silvestri made a huge save. Fortunato Santone kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cosimo Laudadio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPALLETTE RETURNS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosimo Laudadio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marco Silvestri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mariano Lacasa hit a great ball. The Chile players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SPALLETTE RETURNS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
