Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after SPALLETTE RETURNS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Silvestri was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Joel Gaona, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marco Silvestri was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Armando Izzo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SPALLETTE RETURNS. The crowd rose to their feet as SPALLETTE RETURNS's Augusto Bevilacqua slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Marco Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute. It was a well-played corner which Luca Rouco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Cosimo Laudadio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Silvestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Silvestri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Luca Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Marco Silvestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when SPALLETTE RETURNS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Biagetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Bevilacqua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Bevilacqua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SPALLETTE RETURNS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
