Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, FORZA BRESCIA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Donato Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Garcia saved FORZA BRESCIA from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertin Gandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertin Gandia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xorxe Perpiñán went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bertin Gandia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertin Gandia in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertin Gandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Donato Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertin Gandia to make the kick off. Bertin Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertin Gandia in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 55th minute of the match FORZA BRESCIA got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Caetano Mudarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 57 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertin Gandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertin Gandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. FORZA BRESCIA made a substitution. Geremia Garate replaced Xorxe Perpiñán. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bertin Gandia managed to get in a good position for a shot. FORZA BRESCIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertin Gandia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, FORZA BRESCIA's Bertin Gandia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Donato Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 77th minute of play. After 78 minutes FORZA BRESCIA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Donato Garcia made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, Bertin Gandia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertin Gandia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Bertin Gandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FORZA BRESCIA the free kick. The supporters of FORZA BRESCIA booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FORZA BRESCIA had won after a very even match.
