Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundson Ross took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Edmundson Ross. But to his dismay, Edmundson Ross quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marjus Laçka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 13th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goalie and right to Milagros Fraga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play forced ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goalkeeper Marjus Laçka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Peru got a corner. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marjus Laçka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marjus Laçka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Marjus Laçka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Gayoso kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Wiberg during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dan Wiberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goalkeeper Marjus Laçka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Marjus Laçka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. Moises Gayoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marjus Laçka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Edmundson Ross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Marjus Laçka in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundson Ross in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marjus Laçka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s Marjus Laçka got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marjus Laçka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute. Marjus Laçka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of play. Marjus Laçka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rafael Gallo in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marjus Laçka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Peru's Antonio Tenorio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zhang Zheng Sheng, made in the 89th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Marjus Laçka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
