In the 29th minute of the match Monitor Huáscar got a corner. Örtomta Legends's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Varas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claes Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Claudio Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claes Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 43rd minute of the match. Claudio Quiroga took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claes Stålberg. Claes Stålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

Claes Stålberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Quiroga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 56 minute of play. Monitor Huáscar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Örtomta Legends made a substitution. The Monitor Huáscar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
