In the 13th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliks Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fabio Rios fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soflov FC's protests and gave Fabio Rios a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when Soflov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliks Nieruchliwy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Feliks Nieruchliwy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Patricio Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Feliks Nieruchliwy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soflov FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliks Nieruchliwy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. In the 43rd minute Soflov FC were awarded a corner. David Oriol went to the cornerflag to take it. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliks Nieruchliwy was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Navarro made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Soflov FC's Marco Domeka. In the 54th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Feliks Nieruchliwy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Nieruchliwy came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Soflov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Toli to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th match minute, Soflov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Mikelats to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of play.
