Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eurico lago saved FC Beatriz 08 from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepe Bomba in the 13th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. FC Beatriz 08's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl Lundberg was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Beatriz 08's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Karl Lundberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute of the match, Márcio Cordeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute, Márcio Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Flavio Graziani hit a great ball. FC Beatriz 08's Barto Sánchez got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico lago having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pepe Bomba came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pepe Bomba to make the kick off. Pepe Bomba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pepe Bomba came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Beatriz 08's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico lago came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Sánchez in the 55th minute of play. FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Beatriz 08 from getting a goal against them. If Pepe Bomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico lago made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barto Sánchez in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goalkeeper Eurico lago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 85th minute, Jiang Yan Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Mina charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Mina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Eurico lago. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Beatriz 08 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
