To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Hamílton Tinoco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 3-0. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Tinoco came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, VN Ultra Spartak's Kamil Sungur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. 42 minutes into the match, Hamílton Tinoco notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamil Sungur in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Lewandowski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, VN Ultra Spartak's goalkeeper Albérico Bernardes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento.
