Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kıvanç Yücesan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. David Moya hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kıvanç Yücesan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kıvanç Yücesan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hussein Bellido in the 29 minute of the game. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Peru's Joaquin Prats seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joaquin Prats the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Peru protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joaquin Prats had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 34th minute, one of Peru:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peru. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hussein Bellido, made in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Zagorakis in the 44th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pfullendorf the free kick. 46 minutes into the game, Argyris Zagorakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Peru booed when SC Pfullendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Zagorakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argyris Zagorakis made a kick off. With a little luck, SC Pfullendorf's Kıvanç Yücesan got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kıvanç Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute, Miguel Rodríguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Pfullendorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 80th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıvanç Yücesan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kıvanç Yücesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th play minute Luz Tejedor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kıvanç Yücesan. 3-3. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. A collision led to SC Pfullendorf getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Czeslaw Wallach hit a great ball. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Alcocer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SC Pfullendorf were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
