Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kyle Davies kicked off to start the match. Alejo Veliz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. 8 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Söderström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Karl-Ove Söderström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Ove Söderström's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Gnesta Oilers's Patrick Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 17th minute of play. Alejo Veliz in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Barrett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alejo Veliz got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 3-0 in the right cross in the 23rd match minute before Bruno Barrett had time to react. Alejo Veliz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Gnesta Oilers booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Graham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Graham in the 30th minute of play. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Söderström in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Karl-Ove Söderström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 37th minute Dave Mathy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Karl-Ove Söderström put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Alejo Veliz might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Veliz ran back to his position shaking his head. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Veliz in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Gnesta Oilers's Karl-Ove Söderström made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Ove Söderström was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Söderström in the 53rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Ove Söderström went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Karl-Ove Söderström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Barrett having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Söderström came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Alejo Veliz put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Dave Mathy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gnesta Oilers's Alfred Liljeström was substituted for Claes Thidén. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Mathy in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Charles Cox. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Söderström in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Veliz in the 83rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Söderström in the 85th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Mathy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Söderström came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Alejo Veliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Mathy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gnesta Oilers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
