Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AZ Sidion Gravina's Qi Fei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. The long shot by Dries Berendt in the 14th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 14 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. In the 20th match minute, AZ Sidion Gravina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qi Fei to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qi Fei in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Qi Fei came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Qi Fei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qi Fei in the 34th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AZ Sidion Gravina's Qi Fei. But to his dismay, Qi Fei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qi Fei in the 43rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AZ Sidion Gravina's Beppe Natalucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Lorenz Klaßen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lorenz Klaßen 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qi Fei in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Bud Spencer hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, AZ Sidion Gravina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dries Berendt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of play forced AZ Sidion Gravina's goalkeeper Beppe Natalucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beppe Natalucci, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. AZ Sidion Gravina's Emiliano Rosa was substituted for Qi Fei. AZ Sidion Gravina's Ercole Brunetta was substituted for Andy Haremeijer. The supporters of AZ Sidion Gravina booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, AZ Sidion Gravina's Karl Bergkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Rosa's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AZ Sidion Gravina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
