Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Milito got the match started through his kick off. In the 31st minute, Isaac Dayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Neron having to interfere. Severiano Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Isaac Dayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Balvanera and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Dayam to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Diego Milito sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro López to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Abel Neron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Lisandro López managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro López was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Koldobika in the 71st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severiano Taurino in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abel Neron was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Taurino in the 80th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Milito came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Taurino during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Taurino. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
