An unexpectedly hard shot by Chan Clet in the 40th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chan Clet scored 5-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chan Clet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 46 minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Chan Clet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chan Clet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 had played much better football throughout.
