Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Jurand Sienkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Jurand Sienkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Jurand Sienkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Sienkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Jurand Sienkowski succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Dé Terra was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Clóvis Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Jurand Sienkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurand Sienkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Callegari's Jurand Sienkowski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 32nd minute of the game, Alan Moruga landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 32 minutes into the game, Joaquin Isoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Callegari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Costa Rica's Gerardo Montenegro was substituted for Alan Moruga. Joaquin Isoba hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Clóvis Proença notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerardo Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Callegari's Delfim Tepedino tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Jurand Sienkowski scored 7-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Proença in the 59th minute of the match. Callegari's Clóvis Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Proença in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Clóvis Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Callegari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Eduardo Guerrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meng Rong Zhou, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Meng Rong Zhou made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. In the 76th minute Meng Rong Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertinho Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Teles to maneuver through the defense. Callegari's Eduardo Guerrero got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Eduardo Guerrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Delfim Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Guerrero succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 14-0.
