Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Coice de Mula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gago to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Snorri De Hond sent off a good shot on target. After 7 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norbert Kosowski who took care of the corner kick. Snorri De Hond made a great header on Coice de Mula's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Snorri De Hond capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Snorri De Hond really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 17 played minutes Coice de Mula got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kosowski. In the 18th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gianluigi Orange skillfully saved the ball. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Mexico's Joel Gaona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 26 minutes into the match, Snorri De Hond dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 2-1. After 36 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. In the 44th minute, Snorri De Hond made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Snorri De Hond to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Orange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Coice de Mula's goal. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Gianluigi Orange threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Coice de Mula booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coice de Mula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Facundo Cadaval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The audience was convinced that Luke Olle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
