Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Erli Haaland capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erli Haaland really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Koulis Kouloucheris sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rdth minute of the game Zlatan Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erli Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erli Haaland succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. After 44 minutes of play, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Radu Corocăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Radu Corocăescu made a huge save. After 66 minutes, Thalis Kokkolakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerkyra FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Kerkyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thalis Kokkolakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koulis Kouloucheris in the 68th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zlatan Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Kerkyra FC defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Corocăescu. The Kerkyra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Corocăescu should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi. But to his dismay, Zlatan Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erli Haaland in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Messi in the 90th minute of the match. When Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Kerkyra FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
