Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Desfachatados F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marian Adamski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desfachatados F.C.'s Marian Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Clemente Orain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Marian Adamski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Chinto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th match minute, Desfachatados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Marian Adamski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Adamski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 31st minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Adamski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Chinto in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C.'s Eustaquio Chinto got a free kick in the 39th minute. Desfachatados F.C.'s Marian Adamski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match, Clemente Orain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clemente Orain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Adamski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, 朱凌松 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and 朱凌松 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Adamski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. Marcelo Fraco charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Fraco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Fraco. Desfachatados F.C. made a substitution. Robustiano Machado replaced Clemente Orain. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Desfachatados F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Raebert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Machado in the 77th minute of the match. Marian Adamski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Marian Adamski made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Desfachatados F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Türker Tuğra to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Desfachatados F.C. and deserved their victory. The Desfachatados F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
