In the 10th minute, FC Hamburg's Pompiliu Roşculeţ dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 14th minute, FC Hamburg's Laurențiu Cinteză ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 17th play minutes Pompiliu Roşculeţ shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Demonde Jacobson and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Holletschek in the 20th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Demonde Jacobson managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when FC Hamburg's Pompiliu Roşculeţ fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 25 minutes, Pompiliu Roşculeţ made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, FC Hamburg's Laurențiu Cinteză made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Cinteză in the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Pompiliu Roşculeţ made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Jamaica booed when FC Hamburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Heimrath didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. Hendrik Holletschek kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Cinteză, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Roşculeţ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pompiliu Roşculeţ blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Pompiliu Roşculeţ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hamburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 65th minute, Hendrik Holletschek made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. 79 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Roşculeţ came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Hendrik Holletschek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. Richard Otte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Rainer Bethge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
