Mendiko Angles was slow to take the kick. During this time Várdomb's players had a chance to rest. Várdomb's Mendiko Angles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Olaf Wieczorek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Neymar Da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Neymar Da Silva scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Neymar Da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of the match. Olaf Wieczorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Norbert Kuncz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 48 in the game by Olaf Wieczorek from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from László Benke in the 59th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Mendiko Angles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Marino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Marciano Marino made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Neymar Da Silva scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. József Nyitrai charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed József Nyitrai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by József Nyitrai. Várdomb's Imre Herceg was substituted for Norbert Kuncz. A collision led to Várdomb getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. József Nyitrai hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Wieczorek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Várdomb were the better team. Várdomb's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
