Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tom Hermansson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, AZURDUY F.C.'s Niclas Füllkrug sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodosio Iigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tom Hermansson scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Teodosio Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Niclas Füllkrug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teodosio Iigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41st minute, AZURDUY F.C.'s Tom Hermansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 44 minutes, Fred Åkerström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AZURDUY F.C. and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Åkerström to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Niclas Füllkrug tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Teodosio Iigo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Hermansson in the 57th minute of the match. Tom Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Hermansson ran back to his position shaking his head. AZURDUY F.C. made a substitution. Manuel Valerio replaced Vinicio Venceslao. 74 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani threw the ball into play from the sideline. AZURDUY F.C.'s Fred Åkerström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 78th minute, Károly Bogdán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mexico booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sun Feng Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Teodosio Iigo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Hermansson in the 82nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Füllkrug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Tom Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Füllkrug in the 92nd minute of the match.
