When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Artemio Quiroga sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Tudor having to make a save. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Måns Kjellman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Måns Kjellman's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 77th minute, Dino Petricca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Måns Kjellman succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yanne Van Eyken made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Artemio Quiroga immediately put the ball in play. Yanne Van Eyken hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC ANC fully deserved thier win.
