Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abel Van Den Wijngaert kicked off to start the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Daniel Ingelbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Geraerts in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Joachim Wiggers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Joachim Wiggers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Geraerts in the 35th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Daniel Ingelbert made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Elias Geraerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Van Den Wijngaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Daniel Ingelbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Daniel Ingelbert made a huge save. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Refael De Boeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Philipp Stuijckens replaced Sem Roekeloos. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, one of KV Schoonwater:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KV Schoonwater. Daniel Ingelbert had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Abel Van Den Wijngaert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Franky Musseeuw replaced Abel Van Den Wijngaert. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Stuijckens came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the KV Schoonwater players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
