When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pino Van Hinnendaels in the 52nd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Daniel Ingelbert however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Ingelbert. Daniel Ingelbert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ingelbert having to interfere. KV Schoonwater's Daniel Ingelbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Reinard Billen hit a great ball. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
