Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riemer Ax to maneuver through the defense. Rene Vereijt came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Vereijt was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Vereijt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and William Westelinx capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Westelinx really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If William Westelinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Westelinx got free with Rolando Noboa in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paolo Evis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. William Westelinx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 46th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Westelinx made a kick off. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Andres Calamaro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, William Westelinx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and William Westelinx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Riemer Ax hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Westelinx in the 62nd minute of the match. Rene Vereijt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, William Westelinx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and William Westelinx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Jedrzej Kiszkiel replaced William Westelinx. After having played for 78 minutes Moises Gayoso got an excellent opportunity and fired away a shot on goal, but Rene Vereijt was perfectly placed and executed a great save. It was a brilliant solo performance by Peru's Moises Gayoso when he shot the ball into the net to 2-2 in the 78th minute. In the 86th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Emmanuel Reyes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rene Vereijt quite easily take care of the ball. In the 92nd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
