Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Cesare Marcolongo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesare Marcolongo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Cesare Marcolongo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Emiliano Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Giusto scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Emiliano Giusto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Emiliano Giusto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emiliano Giusto might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Giusto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Emiliano Giusto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Emiliano Giusto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Emiliano Giusto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Emiliano Giusto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Emiliano Giusto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Giusto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Giusto in the 52nd minute of play. Anfilogino Furia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Junior Junel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Violento made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Fabiano Violento was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 69th minute Emiliano Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Giusto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Buffone in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Fabiano Violento in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Old BaoBaB Accademy booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Furia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Buffone took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Old BaoBaB Accademy had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
