Gregorio Elixio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Davies stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Rocco Owen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jaroslav Nechvátal scored 7-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If Jaroslav Nechvátal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslav Nechvátal came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wen Si Yi couldn't finish the play.
