Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andy Gudmundsson started the match with the kick off. Sven-Arne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Torbjörn Alrot got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 15th minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Arne Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Arne Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Arne Eklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sven-Arne Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jaime Pardo got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Sven-Arne Eklund handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Sven-Arne Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jose Sanz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute of the match Dag Lindström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Andy Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Arne Eklund made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Sven-Arne Eklund in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Arne Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Sven-Arne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 65th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Prats to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Arne Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Arne Eklund made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Pardo in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sven-Arne Eklund made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Arne Eklund. Hector Covarrubias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Paraguay played a much better game than Bennis and deserved their victory. The Bennis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
