A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zézinho Neiva hit a great ball. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 40th minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrián Espadas to strike the kick off in the second half.
