In the 5thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prizren04 C.F's Vullnet Boba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Drogba in the 7th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Vullnet Boba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Prizren04 C.F's Vullnet Boba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didier Drogba in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Prizren04 C.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vangjush Shabani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vullnet Boba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Prizren04 C.F's Erlis Ziko got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vullnet Boba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Prizren04 C.F booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Drogba came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Drian Naçi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didier Drogba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Erlis Ziko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Didier Drogba to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didier Drogba in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vullnet Boba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Didier Drogba made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 71 minutes, Didier Drogba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prizren04 C.F's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didier Drogba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prizren04 C.F's Vullnet Boba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Prizren04 C.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drian Naçi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didier Drogba hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vullnet Boba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Prizren04 C.F could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
