After 29 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Silban. Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was slow to take the kick. During this time Berserkers FC Ψ's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Berserkers FC Ψ's corner Frode Olavesen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Gabriel Silban shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonardo Leoz's late challenge caught a Berserkers FC Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Leoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Berserkers FC Ψ got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Berserkers FC Ψ's Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marcos Burni was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Alberto Tafalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Tafalla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 60th minute, Cipriano Munhoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 66 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Burni, 1-4. The supporters of Berserkers FC Ψ booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball.
