Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Benedicto Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colas Valdueza hit a great ball. Benedicto Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. Márk Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Innocenzio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulryk Fikus during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. If Igor Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colas Valdueza in the 48th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Colas Valdueza made a kick off. In the 51st minute Colas Valdueza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Pablo Innocenzio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ reached it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Colas Valdueza came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colas Valdueza couldn't finish the play. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Fernando Seber was substituted for Pablo Innocenzio. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Yin Wei Yi replaced Márk Stephen. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Teodosio Montes was substituted for Colas Valdueza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Montes in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Eliézer Mendonça in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. In the 72nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Ireno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Montes's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Yin Wei Yi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Montes in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Teodosio Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 85th minute of play. After 90 played minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Karlo. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Baladi during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Teodosio Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
