Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. Antônio Carlos Bueno had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. 6 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Bueno came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Carlos Alberto Jacinto got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Toninho Moreira got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Murilo Lucas hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Falcão. In the 19th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Murilo Lucas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Toninho Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Toninho Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the game, one of AF CERRADO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Uruguay a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaime Cazalla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes. 2-1. In the 30th minute of the match, Marcos Paulista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Arlindo Guedes. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. AF CERRADO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Pombal in the 39th minute. The corner ended in Jaime Pombal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. AF CERRADO's Antônio Carlos Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Bueno made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Paulista in the 52nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Toninho Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pombal was slow to take the kick. During this time AF CERRADO's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Pombal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Róbson Bittencourt hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 75th minute. AF CERRADO's Felix Smits was substituted for Carlos Alberto Jacinto. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 77th minute of play. After taking down the ball on AF CERRADO's corner Jaime Pombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Antônio Carlos Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlindo Guedes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Seco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 87 minute of play. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. After 91 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Lucas. In the 92nd minute, Jaime Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Murilo Lucas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
