Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ɍυƒυs™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Vale in the 28th minute of play. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 周益亦 having to make a save. Ɍυƒυs™ were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludvig Groth took the corner. In the 47th minute, Jesualdo Avelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Vilhena to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ivan Vilhena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of 周益亦 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with 周益亦 in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ɍυƒυs™'s goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ɍυƒυs™'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 90th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Ɍυƒυs™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which 周益亦 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ivan Vilhena hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
