Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Wnukowski went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hieronim Mentis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. Robert Wnukowski struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radomiak Radom. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dragoş Brădean kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 22nd minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hieronim Mentis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Hieronim Mentis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Robert Wnukowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Robert Wnukowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Robert Wnukowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hieronim Mentis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hieronim Mentis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, Radomiak Radom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Bodenschatz to maneuver through the defense. Hieronim Mentis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 40th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hieronim Mentis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hieronim Mentis. Hieronim Mentis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Robert Wnukowski made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Wnukowski in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 62nd minute of play. Radomiak Radom's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Maguire in the 65th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Colombia's goalie and right to Eurico Fernandez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Colombia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 70th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Mentis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Hieronim Mentis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match, Abram Sarmiento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hieronim Mentis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hieronim Mentis. That made the score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. When Robert Wnukowski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Manzanares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hieronim Mentis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
