Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. After 15 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Endel Darmer. Teo De Jonge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Teo De Jonge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. Eddy Laporte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudi Vissenaeckens kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

57 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Weijnants had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinand Weijnants was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Vliegplein from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Teo De Jonge however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Koen Rosbach got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Eddy Laporte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teo De Jonge made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's Endel Darmer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
