Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Koldobika. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Birila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Fabio Hernando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Naldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of play forced Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Naldo having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Naldo saved Atletico Calamar Saavedra from getting behind. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Hernando to make the kick off. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Naldo having to interfere. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bonifacio Naldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. After 66 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Gitano. In the 72nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Birila in the 74th minute of play. Bonifacio Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Txomin in the 83rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Eliseo Mina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bonifacio Naldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tadeo Gitano in the 88 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Naldo saved Atletico Calamar Saavedra from getting behind. Rafael Gallo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Bonifacio Naldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
