Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Paun Atkov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bratan Rogev had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Bratan Rogev notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaklin Dobrinski during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitar Vetzov had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 48 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitar Vetzov was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venko Petrov was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitar Vetzov. FC Bansko's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dimitar Vetzov could save by the left post. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bansko's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimitar Vetzov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dimitar Vetzov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitar Vetzov. Dimitar Vetzov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Ivan Toromanov hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC Bansko's Nedelcho Gutzov was substituted for Paun Atkov. FC Bansko made a substitution. Toma Matkov replaced Arso Palahanov. After a rather tough play, FC Bansko's Ivan Toromanov got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Dimitar Vetzov made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venko Petrov in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venko Petrov in the 75th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bansko's Gencho Mangezov was substituted for Ivan Toromanov. In the 81st minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dimitar Vetzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 86th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venko Petrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitar Vetzov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. FC Bansko's Gencho Mangezov got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Dimitar Vetzov made a huge save. In the 97th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Bansko.
