Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Drafi's Cristian Botasso. But to his dismay, Cristian Botasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Daniel Malinovský sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Botasso in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Drafi booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Daniel Malinovský sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Drafi's Cristian Botasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Botasso's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Drafi defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolis Ntouvaris. The Drafi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolis Ntouvaris should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Soulis Felegakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Soulis Felegakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 39 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Manolis Ntouvaris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Drafi's Cristian Botasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Botasso in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Manolis Ntouvaris made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Malinovský's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Botasso in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Botasso in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Botasso in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Drafi made a substitution. Chatziioannou Stavrakos replaced Cristian Botasso. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Drafi booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
