The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Szkarpiak in the 13th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lucjan Szkarpiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juliszew SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Szkarpiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucjan Szkarpiak made a kick off. With a little luck, Juliszew SSA's Zhuo Xuan Yu got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Szkarpiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute.
