Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Fulgencio Gartzi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 8th minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Gartzi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Fulgencio Gartzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Fulgencio Gartzi made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 33rd minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Bragan McPhil. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 61 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gartzi came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Olof Eliasson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 65th minute Fulgencio Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fulgencio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Jan-Olof Eliasson. But to his dismay, Jan-Olof Eliasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Gallardeta's attentive Sebastian Abechuco managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Gartzi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
