Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ragnar Johnsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ove Åkesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Magnus Tham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marc Eklund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Karl-Åke Almqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ragnar Johnsson sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Ragnar Johnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Miralles in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jens-Ove Åkesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 45th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Di Röe booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 57th minute. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jens-Ove Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Karl-Åke Almqvist hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Ekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ove Åkesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Ove Åkesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Almqvist. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ove Åkesson having to make a save. In the 86th minute Jens-Ove Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Åkesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ove Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
