Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyryl Dziewedik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Dudzik having to interfere. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Konrad Domeracki sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gilbert Niedzwiecki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Dawid Jajecznica charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dawid Jajecznica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Varsovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Jajecznica to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arkadiusz Dudzik skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Domeracki in the 80th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyryl Dziewedik's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Varsovia's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Dudzik came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Feliks Soliwoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arkadiusz Dudzik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arkadiusz Dudzik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play Varsovia's Dawid Jajecznica was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dawid Jajecznica hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Varsovia throughout the match.
