Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ragnar Johnsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Ecuador's Antonio Arias getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 8th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Tham. Fabian Rydelius kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Di Röe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Jens-Ove Åkesson came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ove Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Magnus Tham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ove Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens-Ove Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jens-Ove Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Julio Vera had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl-Åke Almqvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Sancho to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Jens-Ove Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Åkesson was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragnar Johnsson in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Magnus Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jens-Ove Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jens-Ove Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 76th minute Jens-Ove Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Åkesson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jens-Ove Åkesson came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 84th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Emander kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Daniel Zorita led 90 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Di Röe's Jens-Ove Åkesson became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-5. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
