Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jhon de Kort kicked off to start the match. Rakkiat Wattanont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekkaluk Khamkhou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douwe Velez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Saranyu Nutchanart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buddahs Maggots's supporters rose to their feet, but Saranyu Nutchanart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douwe Velez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Rakkiat Wattanont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douwe Velez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Buddahs Maggots's goal looked a bit too open when Jhon de Kort came free, but Sorapong Tewan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorapong Tewan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland van Zijl in the 20th minute of the match. Douwe Velez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rakkiat Wattanont's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Harmen Janssen hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jhon de Kort to maneuver through the defense. Douwe Velez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rakkiat Wattanont in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes Buddahs Maggots got a freekick which was hit by Sanea Kaewduangta. After having played for 29 minutes, Peter Zwiers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Go Ahead Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Zwiers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jhon de Kort blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sorapong Tewan having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rakkiat Wattanont managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buddahs Maggots's supporters rose to their feet, but Rakkiat Wattanont was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douwe Velez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Rakkiat Wattanont dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Douwe Velez, 1-0. In the 44th minute, Saranyu Nutchanart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buddahs Maggots's Rakkiat Wattanont got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rakkiat Wattanont made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Warayut Chainet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland van Zijl's late challenge caught a Buddahs Maggots's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland van Zijl helped the player get up and apologised. Go Ahead Eagles's Roland van Zijl got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Buddahs Maggots's Warayut Chainet got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Sanea Kaewduangta charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sanea Kaewduangta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Sanea Kaewduangta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Gert Boezeman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sorapong Tewan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Go Ahead Eagles were awarded a corner. Gert Boezeman went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Harmen Janssen to score against Sorapong Tewan in Buddahs Maggots's goal. 1-1 after 77 minutes. Roland van Zijl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sorapong Tewan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Peter Zwiers hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Douwe Velez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saranyu Nutchanart in the 93rd minute of play. Douwe Velez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rakkiat Wattanont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Go Ahead Eagles echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Buddahs Maggots had held the ball for most of the match.
