If Jhon de Kort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 龙杰奕 to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Jhon de Kort made a precise shot to the right of 毛凌辰. 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-2 when 袁明棋 sped through Go Ahead Eagles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Douwe Velez. Jhon de Kort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute 袁明棋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douwe Velez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队's goal looked a bit too open when Jhon de Kort came free, but 毛凌辰 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. 袁明棋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Jhon de Kort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 毛凌辰 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douwe Velez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 袁明棋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jhon de Kort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 袁明棋 to make the kick off. 毛凌辰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jhon de Kort in the 53rd minute of play. When 袁明棋 came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队 fans jumped to their feet. But to his dismay, Roland van Zijl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 毛凌辰 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jhon de Kort's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队 defense, Harmen Janssen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 毛凌辰. The 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 毛凌辰 should have stopped the shot. Harmen Janssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛凌辰 having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland van Zijl in the 93rd minute of play forced 浙江台州蓝鸟代表队's goalkeeper 毛凌辰 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
