Go Ahead Eagles's Douwe Velez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Harmen Stuijt hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes of play, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Oliver Hansted made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douwe Velez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 played minutes Nunez Amato rounded Go Ahead Eagles's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. 18 minutes into the game, Oliver Hansted was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Go Ahead Eagles the free kick. After 18 played minutes FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Hansted. Roland van Zijl scored 4-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Chocholatý, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Go Ahead Eagles's Douwe Velez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Eriz in the 25th minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Nunez Amato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Go Ahead Eagles's Douwe Velez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Saul Eriz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Douwe Velez. The goal made the score 5-1. Douwe Velez came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Ahmet Ali Poyraz. But to his dismay, Ahmet Ali Poyraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Ahmet Ali Poyrazs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Douwe Velez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the game, Nunez Amato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Douwe Velez. Nunez Amato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-1. Giorgos Peris kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland van Zijl in the 42nd minute of play forced FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goalkeeper Martin Chocholatý to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nunez Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jhon de Kort made a kick off. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Martin Chocholatý played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhon de Kort in the 54th minute of play. After 54 played minutes FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Peris. When FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Ahmet Ali Poyraz in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Go Ahead Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ahmet Ali Poyraz put it in 9-1 from a short distance just to the right of Douwe Velez. Ahmet Ali Poyraz scored 10-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douwe Velez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Ali Poyraz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douwe Velez was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Harmen Janssen hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ali Poyraz in the 75th minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Douwe Velez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Ali Poyraz in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douwe Velez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Go Ahead Eagles's Roland van Zijl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Chocholatý. Martin Chocholatý yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 11-2. 90 minutes into the game, one of FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO:s Martin Chocholatý showed great skill when he stopped Gert Boezeman:s penalty. Douwe Velez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 96 minutes, Nunez Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Amato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Peter Zwiers got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute, Ahmet Ali Poyraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douwe Velez was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-2. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
