The audience was convinced that Oliver Hansted's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mieszko Rukszcz was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Lukasz Dubiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mieszko Rukszcz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentinos Karapialis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Oliver Hansted recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mieszko Rukszcz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Hansted, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Martin Chocholatý played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Mudry in the 22nd minute of play. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's attentive Witomir Mudry managed to snatch the ball when Michalis Moutsos made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26th match minute, ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Mudry to maneuver through the defense. If Alfred Buda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Buda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mieszko Rukszcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Hansted in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Quin Nobo got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Amato was the one to do the kick off. Giorgos Peris kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Nunez Amato made a precise shot to the right of Mieszko Rukszcz.
