The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Odell Gagne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Michelini in the 3rd minute of the match. Big Flats Airport AFC's Ward Sprague got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Odell Gagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Chiappini in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Terrell Cates fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bianco Graziani, passed just outside the right post. When Gilbert Brandt fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Big Flats Airport AFC's protests and gave Gilbert Brandt a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Big Flats Airport AFC's Bianco Graziani threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ward Sprague, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 14 minutes into the match, Big Flats Airport AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Marsilio came free, but Odell Gagne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C. Parrots's Augusto Perilli got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Shane Sanderson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bianco Graziani. Shane Sanderson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Andrea Marsilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Marsilio in the 28th minute of play forced Big Flats Airport AFC's goalkeeper Odell Gagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Filippini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odell Gagne having to interfere. Bianco Graziani came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Big Flats Airport AFC's Terrell Cates. But to his dismay, Terrell Cates quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Craig Cornell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Filippini to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Selvi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Parrots's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Big Flats Airport AFC the free kick. A collision led to F.C. Parrots getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fabrizio Selvi hit a great ball. Alvaro Filippini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Brandt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bianco Graziani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Brandt in the 66th minute of the match. Jason Stout kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match, Alvaro Filippini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Odell Gagne saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 74 minutes into the match, Big Flats Airport AFC's goalkeeper Odell Gagne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Filippini. F.C. Parrots were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Big Flats Airport AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvaro Filippini took the corner. Felice Toschi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Odell Gagne made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Alvaro Filippini sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Filippini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Alvaro Filippini lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Odell Gagne. Alvaro Filippini in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Odell Gagne, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 90 played minutes Big Flats Airport AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shane Sanderson. F.C. Parrots's Bianco Graziani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Sprague in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Big Flats Airport AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Brandt. Big Flats Airport AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of F.C. Parrots for a fine match.
